Detailed Description: This conference will be dedicated to showing how Control-Mastery Theory (CMT) can play the role of an integrative theoretical framework that psychotherapists with different theoretical orientations (psychoanalytic, cognitive-behavioral, relational-systemic, bioenergetic, and so on) can use to understand how to provide case-specific treatments adjusted to the needs of the different patients.
During the conference, different speakers trained at CMT will show the core theoretical and clinical concepts of CMT, some of the research data supporting them, and how this integration can shape the treatment of different clinical problems (identity problems, post-traumatic symptoms, severe personality disorders and so on) and treatments delivered in different settings (individual, couple, family, social-services).
