The PPC is a center for clinical training and research. We provide mental health services to San Francisco, East Bay, and surrounding Bay Area communities. We also participate in research in a variety of areas related to Control Mastery Theory.
Our staff includes post-doctoral fellows and pre-doctoral interns in clinical psychology, MFT and MSW interns and supervising faculty and clinicians from the community who have been trained in Control Mastery Theory.
Who is Eligible for Our Services?
Any person seeking psychotherapy is eligible to request consultation from the Presidion Psychotherapy Center (PPC). A consultation will assist each person in determining whether our approach is the right therapy for him or her. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income, starting at $35 and ranging up to $100 per session. Clients will be asked to participate in outcome research, consisting of a series of brief self-report questionnaires. Clients are encouraged to participate but are not required to do so.
The CCP is a community resource, which offers affordable psychotherapy to individuals, families, and couples. We welcome people of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and sexual orientations.
